POSITION SUMMARY

The People and Culture Partner will play a key role in delivering on our mission to transform the lives of people affected by rare and devastating diseases by developing and delivering valued innovative therapies. The People and Culture Partner will play a critical role in building these organizational capabilities by:

  • Providing guidance and advice to business teams, managers and leaders on all people management matters
  • Deliver the global HR agenda, initiatives and objectives year on year in support of the business
  • Partnering effectively with leaders, managers and employees across the business and providing leadership and coaching to drive the successful implementation of Alexions people and culture strategy in a consistent manner
  • Building relationships and collaborating with our Centers of Expertise (COEs), Talent (Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development) and Total Rewards, to deploy strategies to impact capabilities in innovation and leadership
  • Proactively perform diagnostic interventions and problem resolution strategies to contribute HR point of view to business issues

  • This positionwill report directly to the Head of US & Ireland Employee Experience and will be based in Boston, MA

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTCOMES

  • Anticipates and advocates for employees needs and aims to balance those with business strategy
  • Develop and implement general employee experience strategies, policies, processes and programs across the business with the aim of making Alexion the most rewarding Company to work for
  • Drive high quality levels in all HR operations, ensuring consistency and accuracy of processes, data and systems
  • Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Total Rewards colleagues to address business needs and ensure full alignment with global HR initiatives and goals
  • In partnership with Talent Acquisition, position Alexion as an employer of choice with a strong employee value proposition
  • Develops and rolls out effective onboarding programs for all new hires
  • Involvement in global multi- function project or task teams
