The Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Works with the Director, Information Technology on the implementation of new technologies, upgrading systems with the latest versions of software, the rollout of new hardware and field training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops reports for both internal and external requirements.
Design, configuration, testing, implementation and support of company interfaces.
Coordinates and assist in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers, databases and other systems.
Responsible for the maintenance, system support and provisioning of the following systems: Windows and supported subsystems that support Carenet infrastructure; Windows and Application systems that support Active Directory.
Participates on projects that is focused on streamlining the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.
Installs new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Maintains data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Manages Virtual Desktop Environment
Manages Network Switches, routers and firewalls
Manages Patch Management Lifecycle

Evaluates the system to determine that all corrections have been properly made with no unanticipated and undesirable side effects.
Diagnoses and resolves technical problems, prevents problem escalation and provides solution tracking.
Monitors and maintains Servers to ensure optimal performance.
Tests and debugs programs and systems by analyzing them to determine likely problem areas, constructing and using sample data to test programs or systems failures, and rewriting or redesigning programs or systems to correct such failures.
Reports weekly status, including completion of work, upcoming deliverables, risks, and other task deliverables.
Responds in a timely fashion to end users needs and concerns relating to computer business applications and general systems issues.
Participates in requirement/implementation meetings with clients (internal and external) to understand the business requirements.
Collaboration with Carenet Team:
Successfully builds and maintains relationships with vendors, Team Members and clients.
Coordinates and assists with work across multiple work teams to ensure high quality and timely solutions.

Preferred knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of security software programs and implementation.
Knowledge of best practices in developing Active Directory best practices and procedures for enterprise infrastructure.
Excellent technical knowledge of corporate, Windows, Patch management, Log management, and Virtual Server standards.
Comprehensive hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, software, and standards.
Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
Ability to conduct research into hardware products and issues as required.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant field with 2 years of experience; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience preferred in the areas of accountability for 24/7 call center technologies, reporting, remote workforce, web application architectures and services, and network architectures and services.
