|Job Description:||Armstrong World Industries is hiring a SAP Business Warehouse Developer for a 3-4 month project (approximately 500 hours of work). The primary focus of this role will be as a SAP BW Developer focused on Armstrong's Europe and Asia divestiture. As part of this, they have identified a small BW work package they would like to find some outside help on. The work is not terribly complex (basic SAP BW Development - Query creation/clone and publishing). The overall goal is to improve the separation of data between 2 companies, each of which is acquiring different parts of the EMEA business/markets. Today, the data is not separated in a way that facilitates this separation. Each company will eventually get their own SAP ERP and BW systems via an SLO process, with help from SAP SLO consulting group.|
Required by a significant divesture and a split within that divested business.
AWI needs to separate certain BW InfoProviders/workbook/queries across the 2 divested businesses (called Juno and Apollo) that currently overlap within AWI's business and systems (SAP) structures.
Technical work in BW:
Clone and modify:
Set up new BW security structures/roles
Schedule: August through September 2019
AWI BW team:
Design: 50 hours
Oversight/Test: 50 hours
Develop and Test: 300 hours
Security Work: 100 hours
Cut over activities and post go-live support - 100
|Work Environment:||This person can work remotely 50% of the time and travel in the other 50%. |
