We are looking for a full-time Software Quality Analyst for our office in Yarmouth, ME. In this role, you will be responsible for performing product quality assurance development and testing activities for Garmins products in a team-oriented environment. Other essential functions include:

Develop, maintain, and & review test cases as necessary per test process including feature interaction, stress & performance to improve continuous test coverage

Create test plans that are applicable to each release by working closely with product development teams to ensure quality and usability of Garmin products

Execute test cases/scripts as identified per test process

Analyze test results and users feedback, and communicate with product development teams to assist in problem resolution.

Analyze test results (also comparing one build to another) to create periodic test reports per test process

Analyze defects to add new test cases to improve test coverage

Provide leadership in first level defect analysis

If identified as test coordinator for a product, lead overall test planning and execution for that product

Define new or improved test processes

Provide leadership on mid to large sized projects with responsibilities that include test planning, test activity coordination and reporting test results to development teams.

Perform job functions independently with minimal direction from supervisor

Gain understanding and apply detailed knowledge of Garmin processes and procedures

Train and mentor new team members



Qualified candidates possess an Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school or a minimum of 4 years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description. Other requirements include:

Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)

Must possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as a
