We re currently looking for a Senior IS Analytics Analyst to join our team in Nissan Headquarters in Franklin, TN.

This position is on the Aftersales Information Systems team. The Sr. Analyst is someone who is very curious on what the data might reveal, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and a can do attitude. The Sr. Analyst has a passion for digging into the data to help answer complex business questions by leveraging insights generated from our dealer data.

Job Requirements:

  • Coordinate with the internal business departments and the IT department teams.
  • Participate in the following sprint activities utilizing an Agile Methodology:

    Sprint Planning

    Design

    Development (at the option of NNA)

    Testing (at the option of NNA)

    UAT Support (at the option of NNA)

    Release & Deployment (at the option of NNA)

  • Be responsive to development team for any queries related to the project.
  • Build custom reports, summaries, and dashboards in Tableau.
  • Apply data analytics tools using different data sources.
  • Lead the team s efforts to implement approved requirements and subtasks by the development team.
  • Review and approve detail design documents.
  • Review and approve unit test review documents.
  • Review and approve system test documents.
  • Oversee test results of UAT and work with the business regarding any issues.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies
  • Work with project team on implementation plan and schedule.
  • Assist Project Manager with necessary deliverables for Information Systems Project Management Office gate reviews. Such deliverables include project specification document, test environment build forms, quality assurance reports, status reports, etc.
  • Provide Scrum Master Support to Nissan s software development vendor.
  • Investigate processes, technology, cost, and strategy while identifying options for improving and bridging the needs of the business with the use of information systems and technology.
  • Analyze and document the information systems needs of clients to help identify problems and propose solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Data Analyst must possess the following qualifications or equivalent:5 years overall IS/IT experience with at least:

    5 years of experience in working with third party vendors

    Prior experience working with off-shore personnel is a plus

    Able to use the Nissan-defined testing tool for test case creation, test case execution, and defect tracking

    Able to work effectively across functional groups (business users, Nissan IS, external vendors)

  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with the some of the following technologies:

    ETL (Informatica, Datastage, etc.)

    Data Warehouse/BI/Analytics (Tableau, Microstrategy, SAP BW, Business Objects, Cognos, Lumira, etc.)

    Databases/data analysis (RDBMS, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL, MSAccess, OLAP, PL/SQL, Python, R)

  • Working expertise in Workflows and UML diagrams.
  • Ability to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verifying performance, reliability and fault tolerance issues.
