Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr PeopleSoft Developer.
In this role, the successful candidate This position acts as a technical resource in a complex technical or professional discipline, seen as a leader in that field within the organization. This position supports, customizes, configures, and enhances PeopleSoft HCM application. This position understands the work processes of assigned business areas, and collects user requirements and translates them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application solutions. Responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Works independently with limited work direction.
Job Responsibilities:
Apply functional and technical knowledge to implement changes to any of the modules with the least amount of customization via configuration changes or bolt-ons.
Provide support in applying upgrades, patches and fixes, troubleshooting problems, coordinating problem solving, researching potential processing issues, testing and implementing data manipulation/correction scripts.
Meets project deadlines and commits to deliverables with customers and/or management.
Commits to deliverables and following required IT policies and methodologies for projects.
Develops specifications and designs technical systems
Designs projects with broad implications, requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms.
Leads design sessions by presenting logical technical solutions to business problems.
Participates in systems analysis and design using development tools, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
Create and maintain documentation and standards and also ensures team creates and maintain thorough and complete technical documentation of all ERP PeopleSoft customizations.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Participates in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing,implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
Aligns business and IT strategies, and complies with MCITs architectural standards.
Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understandbusiness requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Must have a four (4) year BS degree in computer science or engineering or related field
Requires 7 or more years of IT experience.
Strong technical knowledge of PeopleTools 8.56+ including IB web services, application packages, AWE, BIP, CI, AE, SQR, fluid user interface (UI), HTML, CSS, Java Script, work centers, activity guides, pivot grids and oracle SQL. Strong functional understanding of HCM modules including Core HR, NA Payroll, BenAdmin, MSS, ESS
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree desirable
Functional understanding of FSCM modules eSupplier, eProcurement, GL, AM, AR, AP
