One Rockwell is seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This person will nurture strategic relationships with prospects and third parties and be responsible for taking mid-market opportunities from lead through contract, with oversight. This position reports directly to the Head of Business Development.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and demand for One Rockwell?s services and products
  • Support RFP responses to prospects.
  • Work with internal team to scope qualified opportunities.
  • Lead a mid-market sale from start to finish, including contract maintenance (oversight by HO BD & Marketing).
  • Understand and clearly articulate One Rockwell?s range of products and services with prospects, clients and partners.
  • Be up-to-date about industry developments, have a natural passion for ecommerce and retail.
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
  • Have proficient, high-level understand of e-commerce systems (ERP, 3PL, ESP, IMS, etc).
  • Ideally, candidate can also gGenerate new business leads and demand for One Rockwell?s services and products.

  • Help Business Development team to meet or exceed targets ? alignment, positioning, revenue, profit, margins, efficiencies
  • Increase industry awareness of One Rockwell through networking and sales strategies
  • Receive positive feedback from the client and stakeholders on your performance
  • Thoughtfully follow established practices and company processes; prioritize efficiency and results

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3+ 3-5 years of experience working in Sales and New Business for a technology services organization.
  • Experience selling and orchestrating eCommerce strategies and solutions.
  • Experience in working with Shopify Plus. Experience in Magento, Sales Force Commerce Cloud, and Wordpress a plus.
  • Track record of for negotiating long term contracts.
  • 1-2 years of experience pitching and presenting.
