Our client, an enterprise healthcare company in Buffalo, NY, is looking for an Systems Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. This person will be joining a local team in supporting all internal users of the company from an applications and server stand point. Strong knowledge in Linux and Windows operating systems is required.
On a day-to-day basis, this person will be working with the team to complete tasks such as, maintaining application scheduling and installations or upgrades and patches. Install, test and implement new systems and applications. Develop and implement application and server monitoring. Develop written documentation in supporting the environment, as well as monitoring and responding to any business user service requests.
Applicants who are interested in applying should have the following skills; 5+ years of experience in server/application administration., experience in both installation and configuration of software applications, and experience in patching applications and reading error logs and interpreting errors.
This role is scheduled to be a nine month contract.
