NYC POST is adding to their education team and is looking to fill the position of
NYC Program Director.
The Program Director will be responsible for the overall performance of the NYC POST program.Responsibilities will include oversight and continuous improvement in clinical quality, fiscal performance, productivity, staff development and retention, marketing and outside relationship management, and program development.
Responsibilities to include:
Accountability for clinician productivity at or above the regional standard.
Generation, interpretation and communicationof regional productivityreports.
Feedback and performance management including supporting documentation to clinicians and staff.
Delegation of tasks to supervisors, executive assistants, team leaders, and clinicians, as needed.
Responsible for development and management of regional budget.
Oversees regional billing procedures, P&L Statements and collaborates with Accounting Manager to ensure Accounts Receivable report is current and accurate.
Conducts regular quality assurance tasks related to both clinical and office-related functions.
Participates in the development, planning and execution of program policies and objectives.
Engages in marketing and/or advertising activities including direct mail, print ads, and trade show participation as needed.
Manages diversification of referral base and negotiation of new contracts.
Develops and maintains relationship with referral agencies and counties and attends county/district meetings.
Plans and schedules continuing education opportunities in region.
Assists in the Regional recruiting process.
Collaborates with President on employee relations including planning/implementing training and development needs, quarterly regionaland regular staff meetings.
Develops/implements/monitors clinical competencies in diagnostic and treatment service delivery.
Collaborates effectively with other Regional Program Directors through sharing ideas, feedback, and/or support for the overall improvement of the Company.
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, or Special Education, or sufficient business/management experience required.
Clinical and supervisory experience required.
New York State Professional License (OT, PT, SLP) or NYS Permanent Certification (SPED).
Valid Drivers license (with the exception of the NYC region if taking public transportation).
Must be able to effectively communicate through speech and writing.
Comfort with Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
