About the Role: The Advanced Services Architect will provide technical expertise in all phases of the Companys E3 Service Methodology (Envision, Engage, Evolve). The Advanced Services Architect will help assist the Engagement Architect in providing validation of high-level and low-level designs concerning areas of expertise around Palo Alto Networks and integration of third-party services. The candidate will at times assist in the pre-sales motion of an opportunity, however, will focus/contribute to at least 50% of overall workload to the delivery of services pertaining to Palo Alto firewall platforms .

What Youll Do:

The Advanced Services Architect will support the Connected Business Experience (CBX) practice for Trace3 to grow our brand and partnership, while working with engagement architects and client leaders to help promote the value of the practice to current and potential clients. Our CBX practice focuses on Enterprise Networking and solution offerings pertaining to the edge/remote use cases.

Client Relationships

Provide insight on market priorities to sales and client leadership

Partner with sales and client teams on account strategy and proposal planning

Partner with sales and client teams to maintain, develop, and expand client relationships

Educate internal leaders and external clients on Trace3 offerings

Identify and review opportunities and prioritize activities to optimize realization of pipeline

Participate in sales support as part of and/or leading a team

Able to assist with initial project mobilization as needed

Support and coach Trace3 Collab delivery teams

Solution Architecture

Drive client solutioning for additional sales pursuits in the CBX practice area

Understand business challenges and goals

Formulate the solution based on expertise and Trace3 capabilities

Identify the value proposition and differentiators for Trace3

Understand the competitive landscape in the practice area

Collateral, Asset, and Community Development

Develop practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting materials such as Method of Procedures (MoPs), etc.

Ability to qualify opportunities and provide accurate Level of Effort (LoE) templates around subject matter expertise (SME)

Drive development of assets and intellectual property (e.g. playbooks, templates, etc.)

Provide guidance to Trace3 billable consultants in the practice area and SME for professional development

Qualifications & Interests:

Ideal candidates will have strong delivery capabilities pertaining to Palo Alto Firewall platforms. The Advanced Services Architect should also have consulting-relevant experience in the practice area with a strong focus on Palo Alto subject matter expertise.

10+ years of Technology domain experience Palo Alto Networks, Firewalls, etc.

Experience with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) - Deployment, configuration, troubleshooting

Experience with Palo Alto Panorama - Deployment, configuration, troubleshooting

Experience with migration to Palo Alto NGFWs from Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, and other firewall platforms

Experience with Palo Alto Expedition for migrations and best practice assessments

Palo Alto GlobalProtect SSL VPN deployments

Palo Alto Prisma Access experience

Experience with other Palo Alto products and cloud products

Contribution to new business development effortsaround net new service offerings

Ability to identify major technology trends and share point of view with clients in support of sales pursuits

Experience creating thought leadership and presenting in the area of expertise is preferred
